AvidXchange Strongroom strives to create a product that is easy to use, high performing, and provides our customers with superior paperless invoice product. We create release notes to best communicate the changes and updates we are making, as well as improvements to features to better serve your needs, as we continue to improve our products.

IMPORTANT: This release will require an update to the integration tool. In most cases, the integration tool will auto-update. After the release, if your nightly integration was not successful, run the integration update tool from the PC/Server on which the Integration Client is installed. Run AvidXchange Strongroom Updates as administrator and click Install.

What’s New?

Updated Payment Details Page to Display Refund Requests and Void Payments

The following information will now be available if the stop payment request has been initiated on the Payment Details page:

  • Voided By: Displays user name that requested to void the invoice.
  • Voided Date: Displays the date that the void request was entered.
  • Voided Reason: Displays the reason code for the voided transaction.
    • This field will display if enabled by your Administrator.
  • Refund Request: This will be checked if a refund has been requested.
  • Void Requested Via: Indicates if the void was initiated by email or by API, if applicable.

Updated Payment Details Page to Show “Mail to” Source

The mail to address where the payment was originally mailed is now captured in the Payment Details page. If the address changed for the Vendor after the payment was sent, the original mail to address is captured to show the address at the time of payment generation.

Invoice History Displays Payment Type Source

After an invoice has been generated, the payment type source can be viewed using the Invoice History.

1. My Invoices, select an invoice.

2. Under the payment information, click the History tab.

3. Click View Full History to view invoice history.

4. The Invoice Audit History will load. Scroll to the far right to view the Source Pmt Type columns.

Company “Tag” Field Added to Company Details Page for Enhanced Invoice Filtering

A new field has been added to allow a descriptive tag to be entered to Company Details.

Tag names must adhere to the following requirements:

  • Tags must begin with a “#” (Example: #Tag).
  • Multiple tags can be added for a company with no separator required (Example: #Tag1#Tag2#AnotherTag).
  • Tags can be up to fifty characters long.
  • Blank spaces cannot be entered in a tag.
  • Only letters and numbers may be used, as other characters cannot be entered.
  • Tags must be unique.

Tags can be useful when filtering invoices to categorize companies. A new company tag search section has been added to the My Invoices page.

1. When filtering by tags, tag name and the invoice count will list for each tag in the left-hand menu in My Invoices.

2. Clicking the invoice count number will display the invoices with that tag in the grid.

3. Click Clear to reset the Tags filter.
